1. Strict No-Refund Policy (All Sales Are Final)
Event Setup operates under a strict no-refund policy. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This applies to:
- Participant cancellations, injury, or inability to attend.
- Scheduling conflicts or travel issues.
- Event cancellations or postponements by the organizer.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
Every component of your transaction is strictly non-refundable once the payment is processed. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Event Registration Fees
- Platform Service Fees (covers platform operations incurred at checkout)
- Payment Processing Fees
- Federation Fees (remitted immediately to the sports federation)
- Donations (transferred to the designated charity or cause)
- Fundraising Contributions (transferred to the athlete/team)
3. Cancellation or Postponement by the Organizer
Because Event Setup is solely a platform provider, we do not issue refunds if an event is canceled, altered, or postponed by the organizer.
- If an event is canceled, the organizer is solely responsible for communicating any next steps.
- The organizer may, entirely at their own discretion, offer deferrals or credit toward a future edition of their event.
- Event Setup will not process cash refunds or return platform/federation fees for canceled events.
4. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances outside the organizer's control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, government bans, pandemics), no refunds will be issued. The event organizer may choose to offer a virtual conversion or deferral, but a cash refund through Event Setup is not permitted.
5. Transfers
While refunds are not permitted, some event organizers may allow you to transfer your registration to another participant.
- Transfers are solely at the discretion of the event organizer.
- If permitted, transfers must be conducted through the official Event Setup transfer flow (if available for that event).
- Any off-platform scalping or reselling of registrations is strictly prohibited and will result in ticket cancellation without compensation.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
Because this strict no-refund policy is clearly stated and agreed to prior to checkout, all chargebacks will be actively disputed using this agreement as evidence.
- Unjustified chargebacks or fraudulent disputes will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your Event Setup account.
- If you have a critical issue with an organizer's handling of an event, please contact support@event-setup.com for guidance, though Event Setup cannot override the no-refund financial policy.
